Owen Money Show 2005

See further down page for videos!!

Thanks so much to all of you who have supported me.  I know people have voted from all over - loyal friends and those I have never met.  I have been overwhelmed by your interest and hope to have the opportunity to entertain you again soon.  Good luck to all who appeared on the shows - we had a great time, didn't we!

Here I was again - but now I was on my own!!!

Had to audition in Cardiff because of a gig sharing

the same date as the Swansea one.  Over 1500

applied and I was lucky enough to reach the final

40.  After the next round at the BBC Studios  I was

delighted when I was chosen for the final 16.

The four heats were televised from the Pop Factory.  I was in Heat 2, which was televised on BBC 1 Wales.  Unfortunately I didn't get through to the final this year, but there goes!!  The winner of each heat appeared in the final, which was held in the BBC studios, Cardiff.

Owen Money Show 2004

In August 2003 Bac2Bac went in for the Owen Money Show 'Just Up Your Street'.  This was taken at the first audition in Llanelli, when we sang a Mamas & Papas arrangement a capella. (VIDEO)

We went to the auditions in Llanelli College and it was packed.  We got there early and were number 240!!!  Never mind - we met a load of people we knew and it was a laugh.

I had an eventful 18th Birthday as the group spent it in the next round of the auditions in Cardiff Bay.   At the end of a long day, we found that Bac2Bac were through to appear on one of the programmes starting on 30th January 2004.

After we'd been picked a film crew came to my house and did some filming.  We took them down to the waterfall nearby and it was freezing!!

This is a still from the video of our performance on 20th February.  Here's the VIDEO.   The following morning we met up with the other contestants in our heat; Jemma Krysa, Rob and Vince in Owen Money's BBC Radio studio, when the results were announced on air. We have recorded 'You To Me Are Everything' with dA Records from Cardiff.  If you would like to buy a copy of the album from the show, please follow the link www.darecords.com.

These are more stills, this time of the final.

Owen Money's co-host was Sarra Elgin, who was lovely.

Here I am after the final with Georgina Jones and Leanne Lewis from St Jo's Newport, and Jamie Shaw, ex One True Voice.

St Joseph's took a bus load of people to both of the shows and were always brilliant supporters of Bac2Bac.
